GRANITE

The key to keeping marble countertops gorgeous and looking fresh is prevention: Place heat-resistant pads under hot dishes, use coasters for glasses and never cut directly on the surface. On a daily basis, wipe marble with a soft cloth and warm water, using a mild cleanser if necessary.

Manufactured using crushed quartz crystals combined with pigments and resin, the surface replicates the look of real stone with patterns of flecks and swirls. Quartzite is a natural metamorphic rock made from sandstone and quartz crystals that have been compressed under high heat and pressure. The way it is formed cause this stone be to extremely hard, heat resistant and water resistant. Every slab is unique with a more organic feel, grainy and more coarse than quartz.
